Cashier Groups

By default, the Acumatica Connector defines four distinct cashier groups in Acumatica

• Limited Cashier

• Cashier

• Shift Manager (reserved for future use, currently equivalent to Store Manager)

• Store Manager

Cashier Groups determine access rights in Centara. Access rights can either be granted or revoked

In the tables below, any reference to Disallow the xxxx macro means that a particular functionality in Centara POS is revoked. Centara menu buttons invokes a macro or a sequence of macros.

Limited Cashier

This cashier group is meant to be used for junior cashiers, or cashiers that should have very limited access to the POS. Basically these operators can sell items on the POS, they are not allowed to void a sale line or complete sales, nor are they allowed to void payments. Only automatic discounts are allowed (no manual discounts)

Store Manager

The Store Manager group provides unrestricted access to the POS. All normal operations are accessible.
