General settings

The following is a minimal set of configuration required to run Centara. All of these elements are configured on the SETUP tab.

Essential POS settings

The first main settings that have to be assigned to every POS are the following:

• Centara Server (Server URL)

  • Found within the Workstation properties category

  • Although the URL is persisted the POS configuration file, Centara.ini, it also has to be set here.

• Software license

  • This can be obtained from HB International by providing the network MAC address of the POS terminal.
