Index page

• Press the DISCOUNTS TAB to access the collection of discount templates, along with the discounts that have already been created.

• By pressing the SELECTORS TAB, the selector builder will appear.

Use the FILTER & LOOK-UP options to control the view of the discounts that have already been created. The filter can also be used to locate a certain discount.

Screen Layout

Validation errors, changes and saving options – Validation button shows up when there are validation errors in the discount. The save button and the revert changes button are also in this area.

Discount name and layer number – Discount name as displayed on the receipt when the discount is given.

Discount period – The validation period; activation and deactivation of the discount.

Store restrictions – Used to restrict discounts to individual stores.

Description on receipt – Displayed on the sales receipt when discount is given, if other than the name of the discount.

Recurring time rules, Customer rules and Infocode rules – By pressing Recurring time rules the time restriction tool opens up. Customer rules show available customer groups. Infocode rules shows allowed infocodes.

Item set – The item set contains the discounted items and all the rules pertaining to the discount.

Item list and look-up – Scroll list with all items, departments and selectors. Look up filter is located at the bottom of the list.

Press to add another item set – By pressing the semi-transparent item set, another item set will be available.

Discount tester – Allows for testing if discounts work as expected.

Discount templates

Pick any of the discount templates to create a discount. Single out the one that best suits the discount type being created. Note that the time restrictions can be applied to all discounts.

Using the discount templates. The discount is constructed of item sets where items need to be entered, the discount given a name and activated. The reward type in each discount template is already set to a default, with time periods matching the kind of discount that has been selected. Use layers when creating Flyer prices, staff discounts, tax-free and using coupons.
