Software and hardware requirements

Hardware requirements for Centara POS:

The minimums are:

• Windows 10 or later. (Professional, IoT, LTSB or LTSC recomended)

• 250GB free disk space.

• 4GB RAM.

For legacy installations Windows 7 may work.

Software requirements for Centara POS:

To run the server application the following software components are required.

• .NET 4.7.2.

• SQLServer Local DB 2014 or SQLServer Express.

• Visual C++ redistributable 2013.

• Microsoft SQL Server Standard, version 2016 or higher recommended.

• MS ODBC 13.1.

• SQL Server Native Client 11.

Hardware requirements for Centara Server:

The hardware resources required depend mostly upon the number of POS and transactions to be serviced.

The minimums are:

• 60GB free disk space.

• 8GB RAM.

More resources will be required for higher loads.

Software requirements for Centara Server:

To run the server application the following software components are required.

• .NET 4.8

• WIndows Server roles:

  • Application Server

  • Web server (IIS, version 8 or higher recommended)

  • ASP.NET enabled

• Microsoft SQL Server Standard, version 2016 or higher recommended
