Voiding

Generally voiding does not mean deleting from existence, rather things are taken out of scope of the customer. Voided things will always be registered as such.

Void lines

When you need to void an item from the current sale whether it is a sales line or a payment line, select the line in question by pressing on it and the line will change color to indicate that it has been selected.

Then press the Void button and the line will be voided. The line will still be visible, but it has a line through it, indicating the line has been voided.

In the case of voiding payment lines, doing this may start a void operation to be performed on a pin pad.

Void last item

Since the last item is the likeliest to be voided, it is also possible to configure a button for that special purpose, namely Void last item.

Void current transaction

When you need to void the whole transaction, press the Journal window and the screen to what is shown below. Press the Void all button and a confirmation panel will appear:

Press the OK button and the transaction will be voided as a whole.
